Dr. Rittenhouse and the California Future Health Workforce Commission

Diane Rittenhouse, MD, MPH, CHOIR investigator and Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies at UC San Francisco, has been announced as a member of the California Future Health Workforce Commission management team.

The commission brings together experts in health policy, workforce development, and medical education to address key issues facing California’s health care sector. As spokespersons told Kaiser Health News (article available via California Healthline), the commission plans to focus on workforce issues in primary care, mental health, and serving California’s aging population.
